This course focuses on enabling ministers and theologians to make use of radio transmission in a communicative and innovative way through knowledge and appropriate preparation. During this course, participants will be exposed to alternative ways to spread the gospel over the radio.

Interim Ministry deals with support and “accompaniment” of congregations when their pastor departs. During the period of vacancy, the congregation should be supported to understand that the previous ministry period has come to an end. The period of vacancy is also a time to rediscover the congregation’s identity and to prepare for a new period in the congregation’s history. In this course pastors are trained to act as “bridging ministers” who will be able to support congregations during the interim period.

The purpose of the workshop is to train pastors and other leaders to offer Bible and its Message – an eight module course of 14 lectures each – through Bible schools in local churches. It provides an introduction to Biblical hermeneutics, with four Old Testament and three New Testament modules.
